There were some awesome versions of the Bone Bender posted for sale at Bearfoot this weekend! (some may still be available)

Man, Bjorn was busy! :music

I wonder who scored that Bone Bender 5K...I hope they post here...that pedal looked killer.

Well, I took the plunge and picked up the Bone Bender MKI 3k in silver. I'd love to get that candy blue Fuzz as well, but I need to sell a few things before I do :banghead

I nabbed the other Bender Mk1 3 knob, this one is green. Was a hard call between this and the sparkle - wish I could get both and see which one works best for me. The brittle attack that seems to be there in the bender Mk1 won me over in the end. A big question for me is how it holds up at lower fuzz settings. Very excited about trying it out.

I think you'll love the MKI...I spent all day yesterday with 2-knob, stacking it into the HBOD I was getting some incredible sounds! :music

Great! Ahhhh the Honeybee... I think my greatest treasure. It is such an amazing pedal and few sound the same. I have had at least four over the years and they have all sounded different. The one I have now I have had for about five years - I hope I never have to let it go!

It really is a classic pedal. I have had mine for a few months now and I doubt that I will ever get rid of it. :)

Here's a quick and dirty video of the BB pushing the HBOD :glasses

Many thanks!

I shot this late in the evening here in London, so I had the volume real low.

The liveliness of the tone was just marvellous! :music

Picked mine up yesterday and was surprised that there is a clear coat with sparkles over the hammerite!

I can't review it until I've had more time with it. Mine has the bias control and I'm glad it does as it makes the pedal's variety of tones and feel seem nearly limitless. :pedallove And, I'm talking limitless great tones not just variety. I first tested it after pulling it out of the mailbox and tried to warm it a bit while I put a battery in and I noticed it wasn't gooped. The pedal was rather microphonic as well as very loud when pushing the footswitch and wondered if that was the reason? I tried it today (note my music room is around 57F) and it seemed better so hopefully it was just the cold.

I have two other MKI clones that have the correct transistors (which still sound a bit different) so it will be interesting to compare them.

I will report more next week as we are gone skiing this weekend so I will be playing through my iPad sans external effects.
