Is the Rebel Red a tweak of the DRD? And what about that square wave Fuzz?
I've noticed that the pedals don't return after being sold out for months when I thought Bjorn did pedals in batches of 18 -20 pedals?
I've been playing lots of acoustic & bluegrass for the last year, so all these new toys have me quite interested as my electric set up and amps are very different from what I was using. I'm finding new uses for my old BJFEs and I have 3 in the emporium that are not working as well with the new amps. I've got 3 Tungsten amps (best tweed amps I've tried) in 30, 20 and 12 Watts and a Morgan AC40 Deluxe into a 2x12" pine cab w/ Celestion Golds
Thanks!
Hi there Scott,
Right, some additions to the library would be good
Will try to find some time for that.
Rebel Red Distortion was made on suggestion by a forum member and is a custom tuned DRD for more low midrange and rather different treble response and that to reflect using a start bridge pick up through a somewhat bright amp- I seem to recall a Traynor and I should have the schematic of the amp in my mailbox...
DOOD I made only custom as BJF and those have come with de jour components- meaning the chef uses what the chef can use
Well, through the years I have usually made pedals in multiples of 6 - meaning 6 or 12 or 18 or 24...
This has to do with routines of manufacturing.
On Square Wave fuzz see sparkle face research thread.
Ah the Tungstens- yes I tried those in Florida many years ago at a Tonefest and those were great- I recall he had a whole wall of differing sizes of them.
Well you know sound can be a great inspiration
Have fun
