Heheh!

yep, it is the black one in your photo. :)

I saw the pic posted on Facebook literally when Donner posted it,

then I had to rush to work...I minimised the Bearfoot BJFE page in my screen, and then would refresh it every 10 min from 10am till about 4pm or so when the Bone Bender appeared...it was worth the...ermmm...refreshes, as I clicked on it instantly!

I cannot wait to get this...it is a bit of a birthday present to myself as my b-day is this Sunday :)

Will report with my impressions and comparisons to the Sparkle Face as soon as it lands :glasses :pedallove

Got my diy sparkle face finished

Only had a little time with it but at the moment I'm very pleased. Couldn't believe how much low end it gave me at subtle settings. I'll report back when I've had a bit more time with it. It's the saturation pot that really sets it alight is what I've noticed at the moment.

HI There Baggy,

That's cool and awesome and fun to see.

Great colour you got there btw.

Looking forward to hearing what you have to say about the sounds and tips for those who want to build one.

Have fun
BJ

Awesome build... Glad to see your success on this one and yes I agree the situation really makes a difference it makes it very versatile combined with a really know background noise there are a whole lot of colors on this palette 8) ... And there are more to come...Bjorn is really on a fuzz kick and bringing out some great new tones for us too experiment with...

Bjorn, some of my favorite Fuzz Faces had one Germanium and one Silicon transistor though I don't know the order. A favorite was the Foxrox Hybrid CC as GE somewhat smoothed the Si and the Si tightened up the flabby low end that GE often has.

Any word on what you plan to do with the DOOD Dynamic Orange OD? From the description in the library it sounds like it would be a great match for small and mid sized tweed amps that are just past the edge of breakup. I liked the old blue Mad Prof pedal, but it just wasn't as musical sounding as the BJFEs which is why my first bjfe is still on my board 10 years later (EGDM).
