I got one the other day and haven't had a chance to play it yet. Anyone else get one that can chime in with their thoughts?

So now that I've had the Retro Bee for a bit and have done a couple gigs with it I feel I can speak a bit about it. I remember reading somewhere that one of the reasons they named the honey bee, the honey bee, is that it had this sweet chewy sound. Well, I've had an Überbee for about a year now and have owned several BJFE HB's over the years, so compared to my most recent Überbee, this Retrobee has a lot more lower mid grunt, very chewy sounding. It really nails the original description of sweet and chewy. I love the treble knob as it allows you to really dial in the treble based on your needs. This Retro Bee makes all my other OD's sound small. Maybe cause it has strong Low Mids. But it is definitely a keeper! And it looks gorgeous!

Yeah the Retro bee covers alot of ground, combining the original darker bee tone with the treble lift control you can really meld it to your amp properly ..... :glasses
