Has anyone compared the Silicon version with Germanium? (Silver vs Gold)

I've only found one demo and it seems like the silicon is a bit brighter. But I'd like to get a few more opinions.

yes the Silver/silicon is the original BJF formula - the Germanium is warmer with a slightly different character ....

Are there BJFE with Germanium diodes or is it only a BearfootFX option?
