Pedal recommendation

Postby Creighton » Sun Mar 22, 2015 1:53 pm

Not having had much experience with effects I thought I'd ask here.

I'd like a fuzz or overdrive that can clean up well for chords/triads/suspensions with good note definition, and can also go to thicker fuzz tones, and is warm and natural (non-processed) sounding. I have an Analogman Beano Boost that sounds great with some guitar/amp combinations, but I want something that covers the rest of the spectrum. I was going to go for his Sunface fuzz but heard a Bearfoot Arctic White Fuzz that sounded cool and seemed versatile and cleaned up well. My main guitar is a les paul type with dual humbuckers and my main amps are a sovtek mig 50 as well as a blues jr and a Germino CLub 40 bass spec plexi.
