Evergreen compressor?

Postby frosty » Sat Sep 07, 2013 1:13 am

I would like to know what is meant by "reigning in the compression with the decay knob.
I am wanting a comp that that will easily give me clean sustain for days and not have excessive noise when the comp knob is dimed.

The Decay knob fully CW allows any degree of compression with no sustain assistance from the compression. You can also run the Compression at almost fully CCW and still get loads of sustain by turning Decay fully CCW and any mix in between. Noise level is surprisingly low.

The decay is odd...... think of it as adding decay ... so the morre you turn it up the faster it will decay

If you want max sustain then you want lowest decay setting

It allows you to dial in the feel 8)
