Doc,

You should get one, I think you would enjoy it greatly!! Hey, look, Donner has two...hint, hint!!

I'd show mine but, well, I had to sell my camera to get it!!

It is, IMHO, a great pedal.

Donner, I was interested to know if it began life as a Honey Bee that was transformed ??

I'd like to say it has been an R sort of day but to be honest, only R I was acquainted with today was the one in haRRRRRd!!

I will try to post a pic if I can figure out how to do it. Feel free to provide written guidance. I see the "Img" icon above where I'm typing now but I fear there are difficult instructions to follow!! Perhaps I should just watch a bit of The Pirates of the Carribean..........then try again tomorrow!!

I love my Model R! It took me a while to show it the love because I thoroughly love my Dyna Red, but the more I play the R, the more I love it. Along with the Mighty Red, I feel like I have a serious arsenal of tasty distortion.

Ha, no I only have the proto still..... with the right speakers its just killer - its all about the upper mids and matching them with your speakers.....

its also the pedal most able to sound like crap with the wrong speakers :D

but yeah a Humbucker into Celstions is a slamdunk for rockin tone......

it also has a really nice low OD sound , suprising how useful it is a low distortion settings ( tho BJ usually makes the whole range useful so not so suprising really)

That was kind of a poem. Was that intentional? Had sort of a Dr. Seuss thing going there....

"I do not like green eggs and ham."

LOL

So a pirate walks into a bar and orders a drink. The bartender looks down and says "You know that you have a steering wheel in your pants???"

The pirate replies "ARRRRRRR, it's drivin' me nuts!!"

Haha, made me laugh once I read it again today. No it was not intentional, purely coincidence. Just some brief thoughts on the R. :)
