Played the G for about 4 hours tonight with the band. LOVED it! It really does have so much versatility to it. Got it to sound a lot like my Klon, like scary close! It didn't quite have the low end that the Klon had, but it also never sounded muffled like the Klon can. Not as much "squish" as the HB and a lot more headroom than the HB. Apples and Oranges for that one. Sounded a lot bigger than the HB, as in a broader freq. range. It really did sound amazing. It's a keeper for me for sure. With the "C" knob it sounded like I could shift the Mids from a lower mid grunt (ala the Model H, but not quite as much gain), to the higher mids (ala the HB, but not quite as much squish). As like all of Bjorn's pedals this one sounded very amp like. Much more than my Klon in that respect. Just the perfect amount of warmth. I played it through my Matchless Clubman tonight with the Volume on 6 and the Master Volume on 7. If you like the HB, but don't want as much "squish" and need more versatility and higher headroom, than the G is your baby!

Not the first time he's said that, I think... :P Though I'll be glad to see it happen. I'll probably get one. I wouldn't mind having another Model G. :D

Thank God. The Model G made such an impression on me, despite the incredibly short amount of time that I owned one.

Thanks for sharing your impressions ebenezer. Reading that really got my GAS going!

Glad to hear that BF might be coming out with a MG. I'm sure there are a ton of people that want to try it but either can't find it or can't afford it.
