Hey guys,

Sorry to bother you but would it be possible to have a reminder about the different BJF fuzzes (their sound, what model inspired them etc)?

Thanks :)

The best thing is to go to the forum section labeled Library. Lots of great information about all of Bjorn's pedals and so many I have never heard of or seen!

In short: The Baby Blue, Dyna Red and Emerald Green both started out as "Fuzz" and are now known as great amp simulators being a Preamp/Master, Plexi Marshall and Vox-ish EL-84 amp. THe Candy Apple fuzz is like having 3 to 5 different fuzzes in one small box and has an early to mid 1960s fuzz sound. The new Bearfoot CAF is even more versatile due to the addition of a Treble cut knob. I highly recommend checking out the Bearfoot version!

I do not have much experience with the various White fuzzes or even the PinkPurple as they are somewhat rare and demand is far greater than supply. I am really excited to see what the boys have stirred up in the Bearfoot PPF!

I have been spamming the Bearfoot Facebook about a 4 knob White Fuzz for like a year every couple months. I have owned two Arctic Whites and a Snow White.

I think I prefer the gain range of the Arctic a bit more. But! What I really want is more treble available somehow on the fourth knob. In my mind it would be like swinging from sleet to snow to those really big dense wet snow flakes. I think I wrote once that I wanted to adjust the fluff of the snow.

I could be wrong but it feels like the current eq knob is more of a bass roll off? It doesn't add as much treble as I wish it could. Maybe that's just part of the magic of the pedal, but a little more treble would make a world of difference for me.

That's interesting... What guitar and amp? The way I set my AWF varies... I usually like it anywhere between rolled all the way off up to two o'clock with my Nocaster and Voxy (Morgan) amp. Sometimes a touch brighter with my 335.

Mine can get pretty trebly past that point.

Primarily my Budda SD 18 and yes, its a better suited eq wise for my brighter Dr Z Maz Jr . Still with my Budda I always maxed out the tone control and wished for just a little more. Guitars: Gibson SG and LP, G&L ASAT Classic.
