I havent had too much luck running drives into fuzzes...

BUT the CAF sounds realy good running drives into it - I tried anumber of them and was suprised - the CAF stood up very well and seemed to be even crazier witout falling apart... great singing tones..

One of my favorites is CAF into LGW, but other way is excellent as well....hmmmmm

I just got my CAF and I really like running it into things. Especially the CAF into the HB!

CAF into the LRT is one of the best combos i have come across....I have been playing LOTS of small gigs and jamming with many music students...my setup as of late has been

PGC->CAF->LRT->SBEQ

and i can easily get all the sounds i can dream of and all the clarity to rise above a full band sound...the CAF is easily the best guitar pedal I have ever used and the amount of versatility it can provide with other tone shaping tools is endless....All the time people ask me about my BJF pedals and ask which ones are my dirt pedals...when i tell them that I am only using one they are blown away :D the wonder of it all!

I got some amazing and suprising tones running the Model H into the CAF - I was suprised how useful -- try running your favorite OD into it...

is there any way you could post a clip? I would be very interested in the tones you achieved...I reallllly dig the Model H video, as I am a high gain man myself :D , i can see the stacking working very well....

I have been setting the SBEQ with volume a little left of noon, bass a little right of noon and treble around 2-3 o clock (depending on if the treble booster is in play or not)...i do not think the LRT adds too much treble to the CAF when the gain on the fuzz is up 3/4 of the way and the naturte knob is somewhat near the middle it adds complete clarity to the mids and highs and it screammmms!

how would the HB sound running into the CAF or Vise Versa? would it smooth out the CAF a little and make it a little more of "creamier" fuzz ala Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, or Teenage Fanclub.

thanks

yeah try it the other way around too !!! one nice thing with Bjs careful sculpting of the tone circuits is they can be used either way and there are very tasty combos that you might not try with standard pedals......

Would the CAF into the HB makes some Neil Young tones or Son Volt Uncle Tupelo tones? Kind of fat, spitty, and velcro-like

Or is this a whole different fuzz creature?
