Nah, that Model G is from my series of Wishful Thinking, Bearfoot Style bad Photoshops. I've got a whole bunch of 'em... Lol.

I still wonder if Bearfoot will release the MG. I remember at the time of launch some of the high cost was due to more than the gold enclosure, so it may still be expensive. But, just having it available will be pretty cool! :music

Maybe if they used Iron Pyrite for the enclosure.....

I would think the Model G would need a redesign from Bjorn to compensate for the unavailable part(s). I thought the reason the Model G stopped being made is same as many great gear just lack of availability of key parts. If that's the case there may be no real way to make more, unless parts substituted for them....that's where adjustments would then be needed in design to account for the difference.
(this is all just speculation) I don't know full story on the BJFe MG

It would really be interesting to hear the full stories of the different pedals from Bjorn. What prompted the design, how it came about, why certain circuits changed throughout their tenure, why production ceased on some, etc... It could be an interesting read.

I thought Bobby D was going to do a book on that subject. He posts here as Slim Henderson, but I have not seen him in ages. I seemed to have swapped TGP for the Tele forum though I used to see him a bit on TGP.

I agree. I have heard bits and pieces of the story and would have really liked to have been in on the original batch, but iirc the price was pretty high for me at that time anyway...
