Unfortunately sounds like something's up, though likely minor issue.
Yes stuff is well tested by Bjorn, especially compared to many other operations this is small done by him & he is very good, super hard working & really likes what he's doing. I have every confidence it did leave him ok. However it's a long way to ship things can happen, I get packages off the USPS truck in summer for example that they have box sitting in sun all day in non AC truck so when u open box the gear is actually hot to the touch, not good for electronics.
But more importantly any electronics can have issues even the most expensive studio outboard gear. After all the components inside are not usually made by the person making the product and those can fail. Must say issues with BJFe products are not common, and he takes care of all his products for life so it's a better situation than any u can find out there.
It really should be easy fix for yours since generally it's working but sounds like volume should be much more. Bjorn will take great care of you. Then you will be set as those are 2 of my fav BJFe pedals and lots of others as well.

I received an EGDM from the same batch in late July/early August and I must say it is crazy loud, by far the BJFe I have with the most boost/volume/gain/loudness/balls on tap. I run mine a bit above unity around 9:00 or so. So far it remains the only pedal I've tried that is seriously competing with my DRD to never ever leave my board!

BUT, I've tried once again with my monitoring speakers. The volume on my BJFe Honey Bee is at noon, but to get the same volume with my EGDM, I have to put it on maximum....!! And the EGDM at max isn't as loud as the Honey Bee at noon.... I don't understand. I've compared to all my other pedals and everything works fine, all my pedals work, the cables too etc... It's just the EGDM, I can't hear it all :? :?

Aren't all BJFE checked if they work properly before they are sent to These Go To 11...? I just got it last July, the last batch.... :(

Hi Brown 90,

Pleased to meet you.

I do indeed check all pedals before they leave not only that they function in all respects but also that they are fun to play-sound would have to be corrcet for what the model does.
Still things can happen down the road and I would like to have a look at the unit.

Please send me a mail with contact details et.c
