EGDM and Java Boost

Thought I'd try my Keeley Java Boost into the EGDM tonight since, if I understand the intent of this forum, experimentation with any and all combinations is the goal.
Set the Java Boost at straight up 12:00 o'clock on the level and tone with the "mode" toggle switch set to the right, the midboost position. I found this to be the best overall position for the Java Boost as the treble boost position, straight up on the toggle, was just brittle and the full boost, left on the toggle, was just too compressed.
Tried the EGDM with mutiple distortion and voice postions with the volume at around 10:00 o'clock.
Overall, the Java Boost lessens the compression and gives the EGDM more articulation. It can essentially be used to change the "voice" of the EGDM on the fly without having to reach down and change the EGDM voice knob.
I didn't try reversing the order with the EGDM into the Java. Perhaps later.
Set up is PRS Custom 22, Clyde Deluxe Wah, PGC, Zendrive, Java Boost, HBOD, Model R, EGDM, Folk Fuzz, CAF, Eternity, Klon, Fulltone Choralflange, and Diamond Memory Lane( into the effects loop) of THD Flexi-50 with THD 2X12 cab and Classic Lead 80's. Use the THD Hot Plate when the neighbors request a more cilvilized volume.
Anybody else using the Java Boost or another boost in this category?
