Folks - I plan to work from the original list. And again I'm waiting on the parts list and then need to order everything and assemble "kits". I'll do about 18 of those kits (one to go with each of the boxes) and then I will sell the plain boards that remain (~30) to anyone interested but those will not be full kits.

We are still at least a couple weeks away from shipping but Bill has promised to get me a parts list this weekend and once he does I will immediately get the parts ordered for the kits to get this moving as quickly as possible.

I went back and reviewed some of this thread and I noticed that Bjorn did not make the cut-off. So, for all the great things he has done for me I will give him my spot in line. We are all here because of him so he should certainly have one of these!

However, if I could still get a board and the components I would like to take a shot at building it. I do not know how hard it is to find the resistors, etc so it would be very helpful to be able to buy a bag of parts from the larger order.

I noticed there is a spot for an IC chip. Is that something that could be socketed to allow trying other flavors of ICs? Like the LGW. I do not know much about electronics so I am not really sure if it can be, or should be, done.

BJ and Donner are already covered so no worries on losing your spot :glasses

And yes, there is an IC and I plan to include a socket with kits. I prefer to use them even if I'm not trying to swap op amps because it keeps you from frying the chip when soldering if you over head things

As much as I want one of these I think I should back out and pass my spot on to someone else. I have my first child due imminently and I will be short on both the money and time I would like to put into the Cherry Buster. So Cajone5, you may remove me from the list and pass my spot on to the next soldering soul. Both :) and :( at the moment.

Congrats H. Happy to build it for you if you would like... Kind of a "daddy baby gift"

Your call just let Cajone5 and me know

He will be so sleep deprived he will forget what the pedal does! With our first baby, who just turned 8 last week, I was so tired that when I went down stairs to get some stored milk I fell asleep walking down the stairs!

I am glad Bjorn and Donner are covered! I have been here almost three years and this is the first Folk project, so I'm not sure how it works.

It sounds so awesome just from reading the posts. I can't wait to hear all of your thoughts on this first project =)
I know I'm extremely late but I'd like to be placed on the list for a kit if anyone steps out. Thanks!

Congrats, Hulakatt! You're in for a great time! My baby's almost two, so I'll likely have to put mine together late at night, when everyone's gone to sleep... :-)
