I saw on the Bearfoot site that Yim Yames from MMJ is rocking out Bearfoot!!! I'm a huge MMJ fan.... Can you spill what he is currently using/used?

Man that guy has soul and some chops!!

I know he has been using 3 Monkeys amps for a couple years now which has a good amount of gain options on tap. I'm laying my money on the MGMV as being the pedal!

Speaking of, I was on vacation for a week or so and some friends came by my space and jammed on my gear. 2 of them RAVED about the MGMV and how great sounding it was regardless of song tempo.

Yeah the Vibe is velcroed to Jims board now ---- he swaps dirt alot he said and he likes the H and Beest alot ... it sort of spread like a fungus - from Creston (who plays in Anders Parkers' Cloud Badge) to Anders whose using the Vibe and the Model H thru the 'New Multitudes' group to Centro Matic-Will Johnson whos using the Beest and Model H (they were touring with Drive By Truckers) and Jim James whos using those mentioned - Jay Farrar has some but I havent heard back on what made it to the board yet ....Mark Spencer (SonVolt) has a board full (PGC>HB>HBst>MGMV) and Brian Henneman (PGC/HB) and John Horton (MGMV/Model H/Beest) of the BottleRockets also, even Doug Pettibone and John Mayer use the MGMV ..... Americana BearFoot style ...............................ok thats all the namedropping I can stand for now, but yes apparantly the Vibe works really well on a live stage in a band context

Hadnt heard about Tweedy, but yeah a number of the BearFoot/BJfe circuits are just perfect for Americana stuff - and the SYs and Model Gs and EG and CAFs should spread that even farther --- heheheh the Sound of Americana is designed in Sweden  and its funny how many of them prefer the Model H but I think thats part of being on a larger stage and how the H holds up against big drums/bass and a PA.
