BJFE / BearFoot fx Guitar Effects Community

I think it's the only BJFe pedal I've not heard mentioned around here. I understand it's for bass more than guitar but I read somewhere that it was similar to the BBOD with a guitar. Or am I just nuts? Seriously, what's the deal? Does anyone have one? What's it like?

the Blue Berry Bass OD is what I use all the time for recording bass ... still nothing better for me.

When I first got the 3BOD I didnt have my bass rig handy so I tried it thru my guitar rig just to make sure it survived the mailing --- and I really liked the way it broke up but it was really too dark for guitar EQ wise .... so I asked Bjorn for a version that was EQd for Guitar .... that became the Honey Bee ...... maybe thats the BBOD connection you were thinking of ...

Yup. I believe I had a thread on this a while back. Maybe look under 3BOD. Killer pedal. I actually liked the darkness of it. I ran it at the end of my chain to offset the brightness of my rig. About a year ago I picked up an early HBOD which I now use in the same capacity, so the 3BOD found a new home in Canada. I really like what it did.
