We will see, I think it actually looks better as it picks up the exposed metal of the inouts and stomp....

Agreed -- I dig the 2 tone look. The only thing I think that would be better than bare bottoms would be ones painted in a more durable black paint so they can still accomodate velcro without issue. It'd match the knobs and text (similar to the way the bare ones sorta match the jacks and switch). The bare or black bottoms is definitely a big + IMHO

Yeah if you want the black bottom look, a Sharpie round the sides of the bottom works nicely - I did that with a couple Honey Beests..

Will the PGC do what the RC booster does for some...... In the sense of sweetening the tone? But obviously in a different way...

Yeah you can always turn the comp knob off and you have a sparkle boost with an EQ knob

Right , like the minivibe is a great booster that also does some modulatio, the PGC in a great tone shaper/enhancer that does some compression

I like the word Modulatio :) Although it sounds kinda dirty.

Man I want one of these... I'm liquidating a few pedals and recovering from buying fugot's bludotone and then a loopalator... but soon... soon...

Not to deviate too far, but many of you would be proud of me. I sold my G2 NOT my Model R to help fund the amp :D

Something finally hit me about why I like the PGC so much and why I even like it better than the FGC and clean blend comps.

The PGC sweetens your whole signal.

When you blend clean back in to get a more natural attack or add bass back in ---- you also are adding more 'UNsweetened' tone ~ or losing the flavor....

Its like when the ice melts in your drink.

Yeah your drink is more transparent, but its also less flavored... which is ok if you dont particularly like the full flavor ....

but I like full flavor PGC  no ice for me thanks 8)
