What BJF would this be?

Postby melven62 » Wed Feb 22, 2012 9:08 pm

I want something in between the HBOD and MH?

I want slightly more gain than the HBOD (not a huge fan of beests pregain though I might need to tweak it more) but less gain the MH. In playing with the Tourbox I have found I want something that doesn't make the tone smaller but also doesn't make it super huge like the H.

What would this be?

4 knob. It sounds great, just a lot of gain.

Hmmm MG may be your ticket.

Try the MH at 12 Volts. It cleans it up slightly and makes it punchier. You could sag the HBOD as well for more distortion, but the MH at 12 Volts is just amazing!

I'd suggest either the BBOD or that you try putting a SBEQ set to just below unity before the MH.
