BJFe Custom Shop?

Postby SteveA » Thu Feb 09, 2012 10:53 am

Anything happening in the BJFe custom shop these days? Been a while since a new research pedal hit the forum !! I know that Bearfoot is very active nowadays but what about our beloved BJFe's???

I know there was talk toward the end of last year about a potential research project. I'm sure our beloved Mad Professor is actively tinkering away.

It seems to me that BJ's goal is to fulfill the majority of the demand for his most popular circuits via MP and BF and in the meantime he's been doing lots of boutique custom runs of pedals (EDGM 4K, MH4k, PH, RRB, and so on), many of which allegedly are OOP and that's a "good thing" AFAIC. That's what it looks like to me just based on my observation of what pedals people have been getting from the various sources.

Just curious, how does the waiting list for Bjorn's Custom Shop stuff work? Particularly with the stuff that was thought to be OOP?

This is my question too. It seems that for regular production stuff we can email Custom Sounds or Thesegoto11 and get on a waiting list but there doesn't seem to be any clear way of ending up with stuff that's beyond the regular production.

If there's a way to get an oop pedal through BJFe "Custom Shop" then I'm all for a BBOD :) Sign me up on that list!

I'm pretty sure the BBOD is done with with regards to production because of parts. Other pedals maybe not. There's a lot of pedals out there I wish i could get my hands on as well :)

I really would like to get my hands on a DRD 4k if possible, or even a AMWM!
