I really don't think there will be a shortage of interest on the one-knobbers but I don't know too much about them. I've heard a bit about the baby pink booster and the little red trebler. Were there others?

Also had the...

Red Rooster Booster
Purple Humper
Little Green Emphasizer

If I had to guess I'd say it's the purple humper or maybe the baby pink booster. The MP Ruby Red Booster already covers the Red Rooster and Little Red Trebler and the LGE is somewhat unknown so these others would be the logical choice. Would be nice to see the Humper in the Bearfoot line.

I hope Bearfoot will still consider doing a Red Rooster. I have had the MP and the BJFE and really miss the BJFE style.

What are the differences between the boosters? I gather the PH is a mid hump boost, what do the others do?

The PH has a mid boost but not a huge volume gain. The idea was to turn a Strat or Tele (single coils) into a 335 and with the PH you can get pretty close to a BB King sound as well as a few others tone. I love it because it works great as a solo boost, for me, as I run the guitar around 6 - 7 for rhythm playing and turn up for solos or just to pop up in the mix. THe PH takes off the highest highs that can hurt your ears when the electricity is not correct, etc.

The Baby Pink is supposed to be totally transparent tonally :clown and I say supposed to be only because I have not used one. It takes what you put in and makes it up to 18 db louder. When the pedal is off the BPB has a buffer to help with long cables back to the amp.

The Red Rooster is not totally transparent tonally and will start adding it's own "hair" between 11 and 1 o'clock ==> Max as well as up to 33 db of boost. I loved the RRB because it didn't change the tone as radically as a germanium treble booster nor did it over boost the trebles like it seems most "clean/transparent" boosts seem to do. It adds a pleasant sound when always on at just above unity volume which is kind of like the SBEQ.

The SBEQ can act as a boost though at 9 Volts it is actually dirty and can really fatten and dirty up a dirt pedal run before or after it. THe EQ feature is often subtle, but always nice to have at the end of you chain to adjust a borrowed amp, at a jam, or when you play at different volumes to compensate for the typical mid hump at low volumes. It works great with the Volume knob maxed to hit the amp a bit harder and while it doesn't have a huge volume boost it has that dirty, growly sound that is so great as a blues tone. If you move up to 12, 15 or 18 Volts you shed some dirt and get a higher fidelity EQ/Boost. I think a lot of people flip them as the are not obvious and they do not like that there is no unity markings for the EQ, it can be a dirty and some may not think the volume boost is enough. I do wonder how many try different Voltages before flipping. My SBEQ has a serial number under 25 and it sounds different than a new one I played a year ago.

Great summary

Some additions -- the BPB is also buffered and the buffer is quite good. The rest are true bypass. And while the goal of the BPB is transparency, it does add the typical BJFe sparkle to the top end.

I just found myself wondering...

At any point would Bearfoot release something that had been moved directly from BJFe to MP? The only direct transfers I can think of are the LGW, the BBBOD and the SYT, all of which I would love to see as Bearfoot pedals.

All of the rest of the MP Pedals are less directly from the BJFe lineup and more unique to the MP lineup.
