Well, I guess I would say Marshall... I will definitely experiment with the Dyna Red Hot when I get the Bearfoot tourbox, so I'll see how I like that.
What are thoughts on the RRB? I got on the list for a bunch of BJFe's and was told that would probably be the first one my name comes up for, so that might be my first one.

All my amps will run 6V6s and a growling 6V6 and the EGDM are a perfect match!
I loved the RRB, but had to sell due to finances. I am pretty sure I have my name down for one as well, but it has been awhile.

Hi stratguy!
RRB might also do wonders to your rig - Red Rooster Booster (in BJF-line) is quite rare and hard to score.
MP has that Ruby Red Booster that´s about the same thing, but with two different kind of boosters + nice tweedish overdrive side also!
Honey Bee is also pedal, that you should get asap..

All great suggestions. Really you can't go wrong with any BJFE pedal. It seems every time I am lucky enough to try a new one it becomes my favorite. That said, I keep coming back to my LGW. It was my first BJFE pedal ever. It doesn't matter what guitar/amp combo I throw at it, the LGW always sounds amazing!

I would suggest a Dyna Red for Distortion and the HBOD for an overdrive. Both great pedals.

Thanks guys! So is it not possible to get the RRB from Custom Sounds? Also, how does the BJFe DRD and HBOD compare to the Bearfoot versions? LGW is discontinued right? I might go Mad Professor for that one (if it is close to the BJFe version).

hmmm i'm not sure about the PCB version but the handmade version is supposed to be the same as the last revision of the BJFE LGW. The PCB version of the Mad Professor probably doesn't sound as good. There are demo clips out there comparing them. Here's one :

Regarding the LGW...
I didn't notice a difference between the Mad Professor Hand Wired vs PCB, but I did notice a difference between the BJFE and the Mad Professor. Recently I was lucky enough to have 3 different BJFE LGWs, and each of them sounded amazing!

Hi,
my "pedal board" consists of a CAF > EGDM > HBOD (> El Capistan) > amp. What a coincident that you mentioned those by default...
All of those are truly amazing, the HBOD kind of easiest even though really versatile, the EGDM (with my AC30) great but maybe a little challenging (a different philosophy lies within it). These two stacked is out of this world...
The CAF is chaos and anarchy, as someone already pointed out. Works great with the HBOD.
I find these three to be about as essential and perfect as possible, for me. It is a old school kind of a board. I play a stratocaster type guitar (actually a Ruokangas VSOP with three P90-pickups) through a '65 Vox AC30 TB.

Very cool board dude! I used to rock an El Cap but sold it to fund my Cornish P-1. I have heard that the LGW is a TS for people who hate TS pedals, would you guys say that is true?
