I'm also pulling out of the tour but can't wait to hear everyone's take on the two.

OK so after spending some time with these guys over the past couple days I've come to a decision...

The 3-knob BEEST is pretty awesome and sounds pretty much like the 4-knobber with the pregain up pretty high but not quite like it maxed. I didn't spend too much time comparing the two though. The BEEST 4knob is a really cool pedal. With the pregain down it basically behaves like a traditional HBOD and up it's essentially the 3-knob BEEST. The pregain seems to allow for better tuning of the nature control with the added brightness and tightness. But basically after going back and forth with this and the Model 4-H I just couldn't get over how unique the 4H sounds. It's just a killer distortion pedal that's more dynamic than anything I've ever tried and the more I play with my guitar's volume AND TONE knobs the more I get the pedal. So it looks like the 4H will be sticking around afterall. I still don't use the treble or volume above about 9:30 or the gain about 12'oclock but it sounds too killer to let it go (and the EQ ability with tone and treble knobs is awesome).

So who gets the 4-Knob Beest now?
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Ok well that was easy ; ]

I just wanted to give anyone of the mystery folks a chance to try the other option .... but looks like luck o the draw worked out just fine after all :glasses

You can send the Beest back to me then......

Sean will see the options in the Euro TurboBox if he likes

Great review Cajone5 !!! and its always good to know you have what you want and you want what you have .... :glasses
