ever try to help a bug and squash it in the process?

my velocity knob was getting jiggly so i tried to pop the knob off to tighten the nut and the whole shaft came out....

i opened it up and its packed and goey and foamy... im gonna get my amp tech to fix it proper but does anyone know what kind of pot i need to replace it??

id like to have it ordered before i bring it to him...

btw, i was able to pop it back in for my gig this week but knowing its officially broken is preventing me from sleeping....

any information is appreciated!!

ive been informed its a 50K pot and i can get it at smallbearelc.com
