Donner, will the Hot DRD still be touch sensitive, say, CCW from noon? Although it is pretty rare I run my Drive knob above noon on my regular DRD.

This one is pretty unique in its range, Im tempted to rename it the Swiss Army Drive as it goes from the low end of the Bee to the high end of the Cliffhanger ... EQ and compression are different of course but I wont do the tourbox until the Redhot is done being researched.

I have the drd and the hbod but am dying to try the Model H, dyna redhot, honey beest and the mgmv.

Soooo.....now that the Beest is tweaked and the research coming back on the DRD Red Hot makes it sound incredible, how 'bout we get rolling on this tourbox, eh?

HBeest is sold out and we are painting up some more boxes for Beests so it will be a few weeks before I have both available for free rides ....

Here's a thought to toss around. For future Research Projects, could they be there own TourBox? I know I would love to help out with Research Projects but I can't always afford to purchase one. This should also allow fewer units to be built and tested to find bugs/inconsistencies with more rigs.

Right well actually I invented the Tourbox partially as a way to get a bunch of comparitive feedback ---- only problem is it takes a long time to get anything really useful for research ...
I started the Tourbox concept ten years ago - before I started this forum and before the Customshop ....

So I started doing the research batches as a way to get immediate feedback from people who could also feed off of each other and get some pretty fast consensus on what was what ---

It worked well here because custom BJF pedals always sell for more than their original price, so the researchers in a way get paid for their troubles by either getting first crack a killer keeper pedal, or making a few bucks on a quick resale ...... I will probably send the Beest and RedHot around here so some can get a taste .... the next few BearFeet will be BJF classics and the research round will be simply to make sure we get them 'right' before general release.

That makes a good amount of sense.

Well, absolutely count me in for any upcoming research batches! I'll be checking in and waiting to hear about them.
