Donner wrote:Im really diggin the Beest so far --- there is a nice spot on the left side of the nature control where the EQ is favorable to the whole range of strat pickup settings, and with nature and drive at noon the whole range of my Filtertron V is happy - Billy Gibbons needs one of these for his Billy Bo

Where is that sweet spot on the nature knob for the strat??? Just snagged a sweet Danocaster 62 strat.... dyin to try it w/ the beest!

yeah i think you will dig it with a strat, you can add low mids to the left dependant on your situation .... keeps the sting while making it more robust overall ....

Ok, looks like Friday should bring good news ...
I think we will end up full circle really - back towards a higher gain HB with slightly more treble/headroom --- the other mutations we have gone thru with the research Beests have been educational and opened some possibilities for the future .... but really they would be/should be another pedal --- a hot rodded Honey Bee should still basically resemble a Honey Bee and it does now ~ with more pregain which also gives the mids a slight churning growl .... one thing I just noticed is that on this Beest with the dirt all the way down you get the regular Bee at full dirt but with almost no compression, which isn't possible on the Bee and is really useful, especially in a stack that needs to stay dynamic......... so with foot deeply imbedded in mouth ~ TGI(almost)F
