Yes, I absolutely love the Model R. At this point, it would be really difficult to part with any of my BJFE overdrives. I actually sold quite a bit of vintage gear to pick up my current pedals, but it was well worth it. I have never been happier with my tone or dirt options. I literally have something on my board for everything (maybe saving one spot for a Cliffhanger one day).

Getting back to the LGW though, I really do believe it to be the most well rounded pedal in the line. It does everything really well. You can get some really nice subtle overdive or face-melting dirt. There isn't a bad setting.

I'm running mine through a Fender set up, Blackface Super, BF Vibro and a 65 Amps Soho all in tandem. Playing mostly strats with low/medium output pickups. I'll have to try the other chips. Really curious to see how they will respond to my set up.

That's awesome! I run mine with a BF Princeton and BF Vibro Champ. Sounds amazing!

I borrowed Fugot's MP LGW, which used to be my LGW, and tried out three different spider looking thingies.

LF353N: Sounded best into my non-master amps. Very punchy! There was a certain tone in the upper mids that didn't sound as sweet with my SST-30 (Master Volume amp).

TLC272cp: My all around favorite. It had a smoother and more complex tone with a little extra mids and warmth. Sounded great with all my amps and I could easily go from using it as a booster to a regular OD/Dist pedal.

OPA2134PA: I need to test this one again, but it seemed kinda noisy. I didn't get much un-disturbed time today, so my Flow was interrupted time and time again, so I won't say more until I can give it better attention.

Very cool! It is a huge help having the depth of everyones combined experiences with this pedal. Now to just buy the chips and plug and play. I will be curious to see how they react with the Marshall amp vs. the Fenders. Cheers!
