Well doesn't really matter.... you'll be getting one of the few rarities you haven't had the chance to try and we'll get to hear all the great combinations you've found shortly! Then we'll have to get a production run going because i'll be totally into getting it!!! :D :D :D

Sonic,

I got your message about the Purple Humper this morning. Unfortunately I am on a string of night shifts through Tuesday and then off on a little trip on Weds of next week. So if you have to move the PH on by Weds I am not going to be able to participate at this time :banghead :banghead

Look, Sonic... Just for the record, I didn't want to just assume you were the one I should send to next, per this post from DonneR:

Donner wrote:ok, is that the last Texas stop ??

I think it can mosey to the west coast now - whos farthest south in Cali ???

Yeah Im thinking there may be some partial conflict between the PH and PGC as they kind of are opposites - the extra mids sort of choke the compression and its benefits .... thoughts ?

My intention was to have it follow the route DonneR intended, as it wasn't mine to decide where to send next. If you don't want to understand that, then fine. However, I'm growing tired of these passive aggresive statements from you that feel an awful lot like you're implying that I'm irresponsible or some sort of idiot because of how things panned out. I wish you would've quit looking for someone to blame for something and just enjoyed the fact that you got the pedal.

I'm fine either way, so if someone else needs it sooner or needs a few days for their calendar to clear I'm good. I will pm Sonic my snail mail addy and will wait for Donner's directions. Things are ramping up around here with Holiday functions as I am sure everyone else is doing too. I need to check and see if Fugot is heading out of town for the Holidays.

Sonic, you are making me feel like a Pack Rat as I am too lazy to trash my pms! :joker

oh good grief Charlie Brown ......y'all need thicker skin......

Ok maybe its my fault for not having a specific tourbox route - I thought this was a close enough group that it could find its own way .....

it can go to CO. thats fine - Ill start up a regular BearFoot Tourbox with some new stuff in awhile .... thanks for playing 8)

My turn with the Purple Humper has come to an end. :green sad Donner, where should it go now? (besides being integrated into the SBEQ?)

In short, I loved the pedal and it would easily replace The Scream (tube screamer) on my board. The Scream is very adjustable and if you like tube screamers it might be the best one out there! But, I couldn't get it to sound or feel like the PH which does amazing things to vintage style singe coils! :pedal love Most often I use a slightly driven amp and use my dirt pedals as EQ or for a bit more gain or ease of feedback. The PH sounded both great into a driven amp (not as much into my Victoria) and as a booster for pedals before and after the PH in the chain.

IF I were change anything I would like zero to be about where noon is currently and have it keep going past where it does now. I can't see the value of making room for a pedal that does what the PH does the first half of the sweep.

Donner, is it possible to do a run of Purple Humpers? I don't know if I can live without it now! :boohoo
