That's what I'm wondering about my CR. I've usually run my CR pretty high eve at "bedroom" levels My MV doesn't go below 10 o' clock unless my head can't take it any more haha. My volume is usually up around 1-2 o' clock. It sounds great, but it loses headroom pretty quick even with a tele. I also like to leave my RRB on somewhere between 11 and 1 and control it all with my guitar volume for now.
I'd like to look into a low wattage amp like the CR, but has a little more headroom. I have heard good things about the new EZ81 CR's, but I'm really interested in the 65 London or the Gabriel Voxer18...I'd probably get flamed over on the TH forum for that

Aarondavis would be a good person to talk to about CR's. He has both, 2000 SS rectified CR and a new circuit EZ81 CR. I believe I've heard him say the SS rectified takes pedals better and has the better clean sounds, which makes sense. Even my "05" Super Deluxe 2x12 with SS rectifier is pretty finicky about which pedals I can put in front of it. But I think that's why I love the BJF's so much, they sound very good with amps that don't like pedals.

Hey Warmth,,Yeah sure did do those myself,,,and thanks to Donner for some good paint tips. I have a stencile made for the Halo,,although by the looks of things Im in for a wait.
any elaboration on the experimental update?
