It completely landed in my lap. Someone saw an ad of mine looking for a MGMV and asked me if I'd be interested in the PPP. One of the best strokes of luck ever. :)

I'm really pleased with my current board and this photo in particular, featuring my friend Oscar Jimenez:

Nice board,; clean and eclectic. Obviously, a tone connoisseur and an ailurophile!!

Do you use the Klon to "boost" the sound of everything else or do you use it primarily on its own??

Don't know how well these turned out, as I didn't take them. A band mate shot these between sets at my last gig this past weekend.

My current amp rig, which is an early 1980 (Dave Reeves / Hylight era) Hiwatt DR-103 head into a Port City 2x12 cab, loaded with WGS British Lead 80 speakers.

My pedal board, as it is now:

X2 Wireless > Ernie Ball VP Jr. Volume Pedal > Area 51 Wah > BJF Folk Phaser proto > BJF Dynamic Amber Overdrive proto > BJF "DocRock's Distortion" (Dyna Red 360) > BJF Candy Apple Fuzz 016 > BJF Red Rooster Booster 006 > MP Deep Blue Delay 054. All pedals are powered by a Dunlop DC Brick underneath the riser. The wireless is powered by its own 9V wall wart.

Cheers,

The Klon stacks well when it's first in the chain, so that's where I keep it. I don't use it as a pure clean boost (gain is usually at about 11 o'clock). I really, really love stacking the Klon, HB and SHO. The only glitch in this setup is that I can't use the Goatkeeper when the CAF is on ... for some reason I get a noticeable volume drop if the CAF is on and I engage the GK. Maybe the CAF is just too over the top. It's really not a big deal, though. For songs that need heavy tremolo, I stack the Openhaus (high gain) with GK.

Nice! I had to hold back when Dave posted those yesterday. Can't wait for him to post some MKII's.
