Gonna try two extremes today with the Tele and EGDM. I find two different ways of getting highs, trim down..and voice all the way ccw, voice adds raw lows and highs...or voice somewhere from mid to CW, rounder tone, then up the internal trim...gonna experiment today. Wish the DRD had a trim! Wish all pedals had a presence trim or control..they just make a pedal work with more guitar/amp combos.
How do you guys set your EMDM with a Tele?

I currently like having the internal trim up around 75%, the Voice close to 10:00 and the Dist. close to 11:00. I usually run my telecaster with the tone knob backed off a quarter turn as to provide a +/- treble-wise @ my fingers.
This sound produces a nice, lush distorted sound. I find it harmonically rich and rather fattened.
Hope this helps.

Just tried my EGDM and tele again. I also tried it with my strat. Ultimately, I realized that the settings I enjoy are basically the same with either guitar. I run volume between 9:00 and 10:00, voice around 10:00 and dist between 11:00 and 1:00.
I use the EGDM by itself for thick rock and blues tones, but not for the over the top stuff. If I want more, I stack the HBOD or switch over to the CH2.
Hope your EGDM discoveries are inspiring! I really enjoyed the last hour swapping between my EGDM, FF DLX and CH2. BJF is TOO much sometimes ... but in a good way!

I run mine at 12 Volts and the internal trimmer around 11 o'clock. Volume around 8:30, Distortion between 10 and 11:30 while Voice is around 10 o'clock. I also will run the voice at 8 o'clock and occasionally put the Dist at 1 o'clock.
It sounds amazing into a HBOD!
