Its not so much like the Beest - in fact in a way it has even less dirt than the Bee - but its different, especially with stouter pickups..... like Gibsons and Supros have similarities and differences --- Gibsons dont break up very easy and in a way the G is almost like a tube EQ warming and fattening before it finally gives up some dirt --- and I dig it the most now going into the PGC, so you get the sustain all the time and the dynamic dirt on demand.
And I almost think this is what the people that want a Model H with less dirt would enjoy. Makes sense the G before the H
