hey Donner, It is cool. Getting a honey bee for a great price is more then worth the wait. (really, really) And besides I am just taking it over to scott's house so he can play it anyway. But hopefully in a less then a month, i will have a new place to call my humble abode, then I can set up my toys and be one with the universe again.

thanks

and might I add, some people have a lot nerve getting the flu, when I drop off three pedals to there house :mailbox :) :salute

HA! Damn I havent been hit that hard by anything, for so long, as what I had the last 4 days. I lost 13 pounds! I am almost vertical today, but nursing a sore back from coughing. What a tease to have so many toys waiting to be played with.

I ran my favorite (of three I have had) against the BF HBOD. I was very amazed and, to me, the BJFE had an extended bass where the BF had a bit more and warmer mids. Depending on your rig you may prefer one over the other. I currently only have my Victoria 5e3 w/BLue and both were lots of fun. The HBOD just loves that amp and I think at higher volumes the BF would win out. I also think it would sound better with the Bludotone 4x10 Bassman, but my Swart needs a bit more low end which is why I kept a HBOD with extended lows (of the three I tried).

Great job Donner! :notworthy I will surely be picking up the Bearfoot models of pedals I cant afford in the BJFE line.

Ok, here is what I was talking about. I put a new speaker in my Wife's tweed Champ and was trying to test it out. My BJFE is too bass heavy for the amp where the BearFoot is the Beez Kneez! The BF > BJFE HBOD is becoming a favorite stack!

Thanks Donner, but I am still operating at about 15%. At least I dont feel bad anymore save for the sore muscles everywhere. I cant actually play guitar yet except for a few chords as the fingers just dont move right yet. But, through all of that I haven't had caffeine for a week and want to stay off of it. I am sure that is having an effect.

I admit that I opened the box, but all I could see were trees in there where the guts should be. Strange! :joker

If, and that is a big if, I will PM you a shot. I dont feel right posting them where circuit rustlers can see it.

So based on my specific BJF and BF HBOD's I'd say they are very similar with the BF being brighter and tighter and the BJF being darker and smoother. The BF also has more volume on tap (by a hair) and doesn't seem to get quite as much range on the nature knob (can't quite get as fuzzy at full CCW). I'm just curious if others have had similar experience or if this is due to a small evolution in the circuit since my HBOD was made (~a year ago I think). Nevertheless, I'm loving both and will have a tough decision ahead of me on what to keep!
