just got#76 in today..great work to the whle bf crew, it sounds great. definitely voiced brighter than my other bees. actually, the bf sounds like what i was hoping for from the shod..very nice and warm, but a bit tighter than the old hb's. very pleased!

Just got to compare the BJFE with Bearfoot tonight. My BJF is a newer one, bought from Custom Sounds within the past 2 years. To preface this, I play neanderthal rock poorly so I won't be posting any clips to save us all the cringing.

I didn't mess around, went straight to the sweet spot, which for me is the nature knob pushed pretty hard & the gain at less than noon. Also ran an EGDM into it for a while. Played an Esquire with a Lollar P90 through a Pro Jr. Side by side comparison. Both were fabulous! :love4

These 2 pedals are very, very close in sound. Pretty much indistinguishable at least in the limited range I tried them within. They are closer than my last BJF HBOD (a much earlier one) was compared to the one I have now. The older BJF's were a bit darker, I think, but I couldn't say which is better. Both are cool.

Well done, Donner! The HBOD is my favorite pedal & you did it justice for sure.

I'll report back after I try it with humbuckers, some other Esquire single coils, different amps & also when stacking with a Model H (v2) & Timmy. Look forward to having much more time with it between now & mid April.

I really liked the BF HBOD > BJFE HBOD. My BJFE is a bit darker than the BF, so that direction was fantastic. All knobs at noon was a great sound! :music
