While I think this might be true for the short while, I actually think the bearfoot ones will contribute to higher value on the originals. Donner is a bit of a pedal icon in his own rights and more people getting to hear what bjfe designs are all about is only going to increase the GAS fires out there.

To a certain extent there are not enough bjfe out there to tip the public awareness into frenzy but it will happen.

i agree -- Donner has a very good name, and his pedals are VERY collectible in japan and elsewhere. his pedalbuilding skills are well known, and he is one of the most talented and famous pedal FINISHERS in the world. DONNERBOX 4 ever :pedallove

Wow thanks alot guys - and that means alot coming from you Bobby :) :glasses

That was the hope - that people would figure the odds of Bjorn and I putting our names on something that sucked would be pretty low ... and once the rest of this plays out I think people will be glad they hung on to their Bjorn originals. :bjorn :love4

I'll always hold on to my BJFe's... They're tiny little folk art masterpieces. I'm just planning on building up a Bearfoot collection also. Some will be duplicates to supplement my main board (an additional PGC when they happen...) and some will form a second board. I'm REALLY, REALLY hoping for a SBMV DLX and a Model G... Those would go straight on my main board.

PSA

Just checked the bearfoot site and it looks like the MH is available for pre-orders. Can't afford one at the moment but figured I'd put the word out here so you all could get first dibs :salute

yeah I ordered one a couple hours ago.. I logged on this morning and wondered if the site was going through some maintenance or something but the option was still there this afternoon.
Wasn't sure if I need to let the cat out of the bag or not.

Yeah I was working on the site and was getting some thing ready for some changes and while I was checking it in those few minutes some people ordered, so I left it open just to see if it was coming from just people checking the site ~~ so the cat snuck out of the bag on me while I was changed its water ~ lets see what happens :wtf: 8)

Does the BF Model H have the internal trimmer? (sorry if I missed this posted elsewhere)

No - Donner said somewhere (maybe TGP?) that it has no internal trimmer but the treble was tuned to work well with the voicing of the HBOD and DRD from Bearfoot since those have gone over so successfully.

I'm holding out for a 4-knobber :D

Would loooove one of those...
