Yup, in a Mad Professor inclosure! :pedallove I dont know enough about the PGC DLX, but it sounds like not only would the pedal be $$$, but I would need a larger board and two power supplies! $$$$$$ :banghead

Hopefully, enough people will have bought used ones that maybe they will pass and I will make the list for a new batch!

I could do that. I wish I had a good way to get sound into my computer so I could do a few sound samples. But, even then, the thing with compressors is the feel as much, or more, than the tone.

I guess I have been lucky in all my past BJFE searches as I have never had to wait so long to get a reasonable offer for someone to sell a pedal. :boohoo

Anyway, I did get my board back together, tried some new settings on my Swart, put the T-Bone in open G and :angel :love4

I know I am running the compressor is a very different way than most by using it at the end of dirt, but before Ruby Red Booster. Like Donner said, it can fill in a bit and at lower volumes act like an amp input and you adjust the sag by adding compression, or not. It takes some of the duty off of the OD and also allows easier stacking since volumes don't get too far out of control!

I will be in a bind if I love the PGC better than the FGC CB for compression as I would surely miss the sustain mode. So far running at 12 Volts works just fine at the end of dirt, but I wonder if I should then run the Ruby at 12 Volts also? But, I guess that is another thread :D

Today I tried the FGC at the front of my dirt to see how that sounds since I was afraid to lose my dynamics I have had it at the end. I am running the FGC at 12 Volts and the Compression around 9 - 10 o'clock, the Level around 2 - 3 and the Tone at noon. I am totally shocked at how it can work as a compressor on one hand and still retain picking and volume knob dynamics on the other! :king

I didnt get enough time to try the Sustain mode, but if all goes well I should have a few hours in the morning to play around. I am renewing my search for a PGC, but the FGC is certainly a fantastic pedal!

It looks like I got lucky on price as everyone is selling for $195 now and I got a $169 price match! :music
