Yeah sj my REAL favorite speaker is the EVM 12 L, love the EQ of those --- but you also have to be playing louder to get it to move enough to be lively....so I have some nicely broken in Greenbacks in a 2 12 and a C12 witth a british cone that I mostly use these days....... the SBEQ is the closest thing Ive found to giving other speakers the Greenback EQ and feel and it makes everything more pedal friendly in clear treble happy rigs........
so if you dont want to switch to Greenbcks then you should try an SBEQ

I have one second from last at the moment running at 9 Volts for sweetening and a little tone management. It is hard for me to have always on pedals, but I am trying to get used to it.

the fourth knob is still just a toggle with a knob, no?

For the most part. I guess the toggle is more susceptible to getting broken off than a sturdy pot shaft thus the change. Donner said the insides are slightly reworked to make the compressor closer to the PGC and I know the tone knob functions differently verses the Hand Made. I would love to try all three side by side, but unless I make the list for a PGC soon that wont happen.

I know I am still in the Honeymoon phase, but it might be my favorite Mad Professor pedal! :music The sustain feature is fantastic for night time when I have to play with an attenuator as it both brightens and adds sustain. I got an offer on TGP to trade for a PGC. I just don't know what to do since there is a chance I might make the list for the next batch of PGC or not. :scratch

Maybe we should have a little Tourbox - get all three models together and pass them between the three donators

I'd consider that. I need to hang on to my Ruby Red for a little longer then to fill in while Forest, Forest Green is away. It would be great to have 1. FGC CB 2. FGC HB 3. PGC 4. PGC DLX However, due to the value of the #4 I understand if it were not included. The other trouble, if it is top dog, we are all going to want one! :bjorn

I got another bonus today. I saw that they actually got for $169 and not the $195 I paid. PGS refunded the difference and at $169 delivered to my door it is a keeper. So, the FGC will get the velcro tonight, but I don't know if I want to do the diaper incase the PGC is the keeper later on? It will still be cool to have for a battery powered blues jam board though!

I have a handwired FGC I'd donate to the tourbox if needed :-)

That would be interesting to see how that would play out, but I am noticing that there are fewer new ads wanting PGC, so it seems everyone has gotten one but me. :protest But, after using the Forest Green I am certain the two I had tried were not working properly.

Hopefully, enough people will have bought used ones that maybe they will pass and I will make the list for a new batch!
