I kind of have a situation where I have enough money invested in gear to always have a nice rig. I typically change my rig out entirely every time I start into a situation with a new band that's going to be my focus. I don't really get that attached to gear(other than one telecaster that I have), so it's not too big of a deal to me. It basically usually is that I will trade around and pick up whatever gear I think will sound best for whatever my current project is. Picked up this gretsch recently as I thought it would be a good fit when I was trying it out at the store. When I got home the majority of my dirt pedals made it feedback a bit, and when I was thinking through what pedals I owned that would probably work well with it the honey bee was the first that came to mind.
The thing is, these random trades and transactions aren't really a bother or hassle to me. It just kind of amused me that the first pedal to come to mind that I figured would work well with the new guitar was one that I just sold.
I think this will be honey bee round 4.
Hi, I'm Billy.
Tele, Maz 38, and an ever-changing pedalboard.
Stay tuned for Fox Holiday.
