Well at long last my MHvT arrived today. The USPS decided to give it a test run before letting me have it back, I guess. I'll be sure to take some time in the next week or so to give it a whirl and post my thoughts :pedallove :music :sign_rockon :sign_partytime

just a quick question...does the newest HT have the two points to short the cap and make it a V1? Thought I read somewhere about this.

I haven't had too much time with the pedal yet but just gave some extreme setting a go...

Looking for high-gain-amp-about-to-explode tone? Try Gain, Tone and Trim Full Clockwise and volume to taste. Holllly crap! :music

I'm really loving mine. I combine it with the SYOD or HB or whatnot. It sounds just really nice and thick overdrive. I haven't really used the trimmer yet but pretty much love the pedal as is. Very Very smooth. Its incredible to see the difference from the first donnerbox versions that I used to own to this one. Such a change. Love mine. It gives me a set of tones I cant get from any other combination of BJFs i've tried. Very thick and nice OD with a good amount of gain on tap.

This is a bit weird, but one of my favorite stacks has become MH > MHvT! I have the MH at 12V and the vT at 9 V. THe MH is a bit above unity volume and the Drive is between 7 and 9 o'clock. The MHvT is also just above unity volume and the Drive is around 10 - 11. Tone knob is at noon on both pedals.

Proud owner of a big chip in my HT! :banghead
Still sound just as good... on the bright side. Always look on the bright side of life...

Which trimmer are you using? The first or the brighter one?

Any word on when/if these will be available for the masses? I know many of us would still love to get our hands on this pedal.

FYI my review comments will be posted soon -- I already sent a draft version of them via PM to a fellow forumite but forgot to copy to sent folder :banghead so when he responds I'll grab my comments and reformat/revise for reference here.

Now we play the waiting game :coffeenews

Not weird at all - they have different and complimentary EQs, so one fills in where the other is scooped - there is filling without choking and individually they cut in different places - makes great sense to use them this way ---- the SYs and the DRD do a similar dance
