I have # 10 with the new trimmer. I got my pedal back today and the new trimmer definitely has more range. It actually seems to have more overdrive when the trimmer is all the way up which on my pedal is counter clockwise. Not sure if it was installed back wards because it seems like it should be the other way around. :confusedq

It sounds really good stacked with the SYOD v1, PPF and AWF.

I like it much better now. The only thing is that the tone control doesn't seem to change the sound from clockwise to counter clockwise.
:scratch

Mine is 2/12 and has recently been returned with the new trimmer. I also agree that the new trimmer has more range and I also noticed that you get an increase in gain as you you turn it up. Great pedal. Much prefer it to my last version which was the early Donnerboxed version 1.

The tone control is more interactive with the drive and level controls and will show more at higher levels --- and with the addition of the treble trim what the Tone control does with in the treble range is also effected ----- so yes having direct control of the treble now changes the tone controls effect in some ranges ( I feel a limerick coming on  )

I hope after these beauties get back in their owners' hands, we'll see a few more reports, as, after all, this is supposed to be about "research", correct? Speaking of internal treble trimmers, I just got an EGDM and, at first, I was less than thoroughly impressed, then I adjusted the internal trimmer and *shazzam* what a difference! I now love it! And I have yet to try it at a voltage other than 9v; according to other posts, it does cool things at higher voltages, so I gotta try that!

After a long wait due to the hollidays I was finally able to pick up my #6/12 HT with the new trimmer. I've only tried it at 12v so far.
First impressions at bedroom volumes, very natural amplike drive. I was kinda suprised the amount of gain at the lowest point of the dial, then even more surprised at how well it cleans up!! Wonderful attack on chords and I find it very open sounding. I love the tone control, I hear the microphone moving thing that Donner hears, it seems like the tone boosts upper mids which makes it more present, maybe cut in the mix a more. The new trimmer has a wide range and works wonderful! On a side by side with my DRD, the Dyna has more saturation in the mids and the HT is a cleaner distortion with more balls do to the lower mid grunt and more lowend BUT the HT still has a tight bottom. The HT at low gain reminds me of some AC/DC tones. I can't wait to use it with the band as the DRD sound completely different to me at stage volume, I think the HT will also. I'll post more soon!
Thanks Bjorn and Donner for making this happen!

Is anyone using the new Ht with a Strat or Tele with single coils? How does it compare to the MH v1?

Thanks!

I still really like V1 with singlecoils, maybe better --- I think the HT has the more universal appeal but in the right circumstances V1 will suit better...

That's exactly what I'm looking forward to test with the Ht- I've been playing my Model H exclusively last days to really remember how it sounds like when I receive my Ht.
I still didn't quite bond with the V1 using buckers, but with tele's bridge single coil it's really different texture. Rrreally useful- especially with touch of room delay... :love4
