Forest vs. Pine Green Compressors

Postby Sundown331 » Sat Sep 18, 2010 3:39 pm

Hi everyone, new here and have been taking a look at these two wonderful pedals. I know for sure I want to get either the FGC or the PGC, I just want to make sure that with spending all this money I'm getting the right one :). I'm looking for a tone sweetener, but wouldn't mind being able to get compression just in case I find myself needing it someday (these pedals are investments right? ) So what exactly are the differences other than the sustain switch on the FGC?

Well the FGC is really the PGC DLX. They aren't really the same pedals. The PGC will get you a tone sweetening effect like you wouldn't believe. It makes the high shine and sparkle and gives that beautiful clean. The FGC in sustain mode is the one to you for everlasting sustain but since i've never tried the FGC (only have the PGC) then i'll wait for others users of both to chime in . Either way, they are both great compressors.
