Donner, you recommended trying with the vel/amplitude down for a "booster"...

I just played with this at length and :drooling . When the amplitude is below noon, you get into the domain where the vibe effect is not really noticeable - i mean you hear *something*, but if I didnt tell you it was a vibe you wouldnt know what it was. :confusedq

I really like the velocity at minimum and amplitude at around 9:00 --- While its not a noticeable vibe, its a noticeable SOMETHING.. not really even in a subtle way, its really noticeable. Just modulates in a sick way adding a real dimension to the sound that wasnt there before-- the lows just pop out and you get such a chewy spongy thick feel that I can dig into and really just leave on all the time. Who'da thought a vibe would be a good candidate for an always on pedal....? :glasses

Make sure to give this a try when y'all in the next batch get your goodies!

Yeah the enhancer part really makes it worthwhile as you can only use a vibe so much - but having the enhancer on all the time and then occaisionally rolling up the amplitude for some real vibe really justifies it for me .... or using the enhancer just for solos or to punch up a featured part etc...
and really if you stop to ponder this usage you will get a clue to one reason why the vibe sounds so damn good. :glasses

Hey PT...it's bad enough Bill is wafting the "Vibe-steak" smell in our direction, then Donner's gone and given us a reason that makes it a NECESSITY to get TWO..one for ALWAYS ON and one for VIBE....dammit :banghead , I hate when that happens.

Ok, ok, look around... :confused2 what to sell..what to sell?!?

well thats the thing, you dont need two - you leave the one on with the amplitude down and you get the enhancer and then with your foot you just roll up the amplitude and its seemless vibe - no stomp pop or level change , its just there like a Bigsby ~~~ wobble wobble ~~~ then you roll the ampli down and your still enhanced without any pop or level change .... I have those Dunlop/MXR rubbers on my knob .......

its not that different from the pre on an Echoplex that stays on when you disengage the echo ....

its just that the MGMV s pre sounds even better 8)

you can sort of get the pre only and stomp to vibe with the 2stomper by rolling the amplitude down on the one setting also ...
