Mybe just a Clip rack - just links to clips by model for reference..... and then discuss it on a discussion thread in the discussion section .....
there just isnt a clean way to do it , and really we dont want to end discussions anyway
Well Donner,
I waited on replying sooner, and after reading your first reply, that's exactly what I wanted to hear(about past dynamics) and what I was thinking as well. Yes, discussion would get divided, but if it was done as a reference only, and keep the discussion in the discussion forum, I think it could work.
I personally wasn't coming from an end all be all "final reference" vantage point, and as Mr P, stated there's endless combinations that can be had yes, but to me that's the whole point...to have some organization of clips specific to one pedal(and over time a broader sonic perspective would be evidenced for each one by the different user's rigs and applications), and in the case of stacking, there could be specific boards dedicated to dual stacks(in either order), and three or more stacks.
Then as new members come in they'll have something to go by initially, and the sound/video clip library can be referenced in the discussion forum and I think this is what will enhance and fortify these threads between newer and "older" members, and discussion in general when it comes to sound/sonic goals, instead of always trying to quantify and qualify it through verbal description only.
