Will the Mad Professor Snow White Auto Wah hit the Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead) type tones i.e. Estimated Prophet? Or, is it better to find a Mutron clone? Also someone said the new ones have a buffer to work better with fuzzes. True or False?

Thanks Sonic! I guess an old San Fransisco boy should know what Jerry sounds like! I just cant remember where I saw that the newer ones had a buffer like the ones FoxRox sells for wahs. Urban myth maybe?

I have had the SWAW for a few days now and found it really easy to dial in a Jerry sound, or at least a tone in the same spirit. I haven't experimented with it too much as my playing time has been rather limited lately.

One other think about playing with a SWAW for awhile is it makes you super conscious of your pick attack making you play with more thought and emotion even when you play without it. Now all the other boxes sound even better.
