A wonderfully dynamic and responsive overdrive pedal, unlike any other I've tried and capable of bringing it's warm, sweet voicings to any set up as it stacks so well.

Tele, HB & Vox AC30tbx half cranked Normal Channel.

Interesting, the most popular BJF on all the other forums is the Honey Bee.

This is the first HB post in this BJF forum. Hmm.. What does that mean? :?:

Maybe only that the Honey Bee needs no more hype and people are keen to talk about the lesser known BJFs here? I'll certainly praise the Honey Bee any time anyone brings it up! :D

I have a BBOD, a DRD, an EGDM, a PPF, a MP LGW, and a HB, and the pedal I use most, is by far the Honey Bee. Enough said, I think.

Second that,

my main BJ thang is the MIGHTY Honey Bee. Suits everything, with or without.

I?d be interested to get a "double HB" with option to use it separetely (as a slight boost and/or middle drive positions.. There is in the "rare pedal photos" HB & boost pedal, but I?d like a pedal that has 2 x HB - as I?ve fell in love with one, it takes two to tango.

Yes, I should buy second one, but I?d like to get one thing combined.

The HB is alot like a small amp in that its sound has a lot to do with whats put into it .....

it can be a little dark and even dull at low volume with weak input..... but t he fun starts when you start throwing a hotter input or a crazy fuzz and start messing with the dynamic response start playing the pedal itself, not just playing thru it...... 8)

yes, and the HB works well both with
valve amps or solid state amps
i still keep my first cheap amp
a small Marshall VS15R
and the HB blends well with it
