So, my brand new CAF arrived today. Awesome. I hate to put velcro on it, knowing that if I ever try to remove it, the finish will get ruined on the bottom. I thought about trying to buy a few unfinished bottom plates so I can save the finish on the originals, but am not sure where I'd get them. Maybe it's not worth it and I should just stop being a ninny.

I have never tried this, i think it would work if you did not stick the velcro on the pedals but screwed the velcro so you could easily remove it whenever you wanted

I've put velcro on all my stuff, no matter what it is.

I think I'm going to go velcro-less for now. A lot of the time I keep my fuzz outside of my board, as I'm constantly switching it out (pretty much everything else has been the same for awhile, though).
As far as ordering goes, on a whim I emailed Custom Sounds to see if they had either BJF fuzzes in stock and they replied that they had one CAF, so I took it. I consider myself damn lucky, as I've heard recently of pretty long wait times.
I had to play with headphones out of a rehearsal amp tonight, so I can't really give a full report just yet. It's definitely a mean fuzz. I can't wait to try it at rehearsal on Wednesday. Should be interesting. Now, of course, I want a PPF.
