The Box is at the Tallahassee Post Office wiating for me to pick up. I'll try them out this week and at rehearsal Thursday night and send them to Aaron (is it) Fri. or Sat.

I've owned this pedal for a few months- so I have more experience with it than the others here. I really love the way this delay sounds for long decay settings- very dub style tape echoey decay.
I have difficulty using it for just a little bit of ambience (like a reverb) because the very first repeat seems too present and difficult to dial out. I wish it had one more knob to lessen the volume of that first echo.

Many thanks to Donner and The Mad Professor for letting me take these pedals for a spin- it was a lot of fun!

Yeah isnt that what t he level control does ? its the level of the repeats - is that what you mean ?

No- I mean a seperate knob for the level of the FIRST repeat only (the new RetroSonic delay has this feature)....

Well the level adjusts the level of the repeats so you can lower the first one and the others can be adjusted with the Repeats knob which adjusts how quickly they decay....

Im not sure what it is you want to do that you cant with the Level and Repeats knob.....

Hi,

Ah, neat, in the Deep Blue Delay design though, you'd control the level of the first repeat with the echo volume control; level of following repeats are controlled by the feedback control.
Generally for longer delays I'd set the echo volume at about 9 oc and a bit higher for shorter delays due to that shorter delaytimes mix easierly

Now that Donner has officially "let the cat out of the bag," I can tell you that Mystoury Drive = Dynamic Amber Overdrive = Little Purple Overdrive = Sparkling Yellow Overdrive. (Yes, I was in on it...your intuition serves you well!)
