DBD at 18v?

Postby jdandry » Sun Feb 21, 2010 7:52 pm

I know its safe to run the Deep Blue Delay at 18v , is there any advantages to running the DBD at 12? or 18v as far as sound?
I guess I need to buy a 18v power supply. Thanks- John

Hi,

I would assume headroom is the the goal?

12V is about fine I'd say and 18V won't help but overheat components inside at no use

Yea, It didn't sound so good at 18v, I only tried it for a second but it sounded kinda distorted in a way,
I'll just use it a 9v, it sounds sweet just as it is!
