WOW!

John Fromel made my daughter Jessica a custom FOLK FUZZ with artwork based on a photo she won a contest with!

I have never gotten the pleasure of trying a FOLK FUZZ out, and John did a great job building this one, as it sounds AMAZING....

It has a very clean quality to the fuzz, almost sounds like an overdrive at lower gain settings.

I am VERY impressed with the sound of the FOLK FUZZ......and now i am gonna have to talk my daughter into letting me borrow it for gigs sometimes

i am uploading a video demo of it now!

This has a lot of changes from the "stock" Folk Fuzz, I detailed the changes in the build thread. The last round of FF was Bjorn's design with some changes from Nic at NOC3 for varied secondary clipping. The ony thing I added to the design in the last round was a reverse audio 1m pot to give more control to the Fuzz pot.

This build is optimized for bass and has a switch that engages a low pass filter and changes the center of the tone control and I wired the tone control backwards to force you to think about how much tone you actually want to remove.

The Fuzz has become my new favorite effect with just a couple changes there is so much that can be done.

You don't, it's a one off and was a gift for Jess, completely unique and completely priceless.

The title of the thread is not really correct, it's not a new version. It's a custom build.

You gotta do a demo with the bass riff from Tones on Tail - "Go!"

this isn't the official video but it's pretty funny
