Back at last..... helllllloooooo Honeybee!

Postby seans » Wed Jan 06, 2010 2:52 pm

Just got another. I sold my last one after buying a SHOD - what was I thinking!?? It is amazing how you hear things differently at different times. The SHOD is a great pedal but the honeybee is something else. Its only after trying it again after a few months that I truly realise the value of it for my sound and my music. Also, stacking my SYOD or DAM Sonic Titan into it is fantastic. I think I have learnt my lesson this time! Happy days.

Only thing is, this one does seem to have the volume issue mentioned a few times before. I'd be grateful for any detailed description on how to clean the switch.

Many thanks and... HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

I've been going Timmy (set clean w/ big volume boost & slight treble boost) into HBOD w/ Drive at 2 and Nature at 12ish for several weeks now. My band mate have never been happier with my sound. That set up, for me, really lets the dynamics of the HB take over my sound.

hmmm...Model H -> HBOD? I've tried that before and moved on, but after reading the above posts I think I may need to revisit it again 8)

I'v been playin around with the EGDM as a kinda boost with the dist @ about 8:50 the voice @ about 9:00 & the volume @ about 12:00 into the HB. The EGDM @ this setting is totally awesome! it's like a super touch sensitive low gain overdrive/ boost. It also works great for boosting muffs
